Testimonials
The following excerpts are from former clients of Brisendine, Overand, Buster & Bernstein, P.C. Respecting our clients' confidentiality, we have provided the jurisdiction in lieu of a name.
Thank you! I really appreciate all you have done for me, especially for your knowledge of the system and the confidence you inspired in me that this piece of what has become untracked in my life would be OK - and it is! Truly, I thank you. And I will most certainly refer to you anyone I know who needs a really good attorney who is a decent person, to boot!

I want to sincerely thank you for representing my son on his recent unfortunate encounter with the Fairfax County Court. I am so grateful that this experience did not have life-long negative effects on his young life. Please continue your good and wise work with young people.

I am very pleased! Thank you so much for taking on my case and providing your expertise. I really appreciate your help and will highly recommend you to anyone needing your service.

Thank you, those are kind words, an admirable gesture. Not every lawyer would take time out of his busy schedule to extend a bit of well-received comfort. Really, that means a lot. It gives insight to the kind of person you are, one with rare but evident empathy and an uncommon consideration of others. Thanks for not needing a reason to care.

Thank you for all of your help over the last several weeks. Your professionalism and knowledge made al the difference.

Thanks for helping me with this matter. The visit to traffic court was very educational, by the way. I'm comfortable that I made the right choice from simply paying the fine or pleading with the judge myself. I don't know that many people down here, but if anyone asks me about how to deal with a situation like mine, I'll be sure to mention your firm. Thanks again.

Brilliant! This is an outcome better than I anticipated. I'm a very happy client. Thanks so much!

I'm a results kind of person and extremely pleased with the result you were able to obtain for me. I also really appreciate your open communication via email and phone calls. No offense, but I hope to not have to use your services again. ;-) However, if needed I wouldn't hesitate to do so again or recommend you to a friend.

Thank you for your professionalism and keeping me posted, you will now be the first I call for any legal issues in Virginia.
- Fairfax County Client
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent representation you provided. There are people in the pack following the heard and then there is a leader of the pack that can get you from point A to B. I would definitely refer you to a friend looking for legal consultation.

I am happy with the result. So you mean no point at all in Virginia or Maryland? If that is true, you are the best lawyer ever. I will make sure I send you business for all my friends that get ticketed in Falls Church. Thank you so much.

About ten to twelve months ago, Brisendine, Overand, Buster & Bernstein represented me in court. Thanks to them, my case was dismissed and, to make a long story short, I was able to keep my Eagle Scout Award among many other scouting awards. At the time, I did not know what to say to thank them and show my appreciation. The reason I am doing it now is because I am a man of my word and told them that I would thank them somehow and write a letter of recommendation, just like I needed to gain my Eagle Scout Award. "Every year, people become less and less trusting and more and more suspicious. The increase in size of contracts - and in the number of lawyers required to explain them - is further indication of the increased lack of trust. Whether it is from greed, dishonesty, mistrust, or as a result of being abused and mistreated, it is sad to see the way the world has changed." I am here to tell everybody that Brisendine, Overand, Buster & Bernstein have not changed, they are honest, I trust them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for resolving my case. If my friends or colleagues have similar issues as mine, I will recommend you.

Thank you so much for everything you accomplished. I know that it wasn't an easy task, but I appreciate your hard work and diligence in regards to my case. You did something that other lawyers I had contacted, said couldn't be done. If you ever need a letter of praise, please don't hesitate to contact me. I will give one gladly!

It would have been nice to receive a recommendation to a law firm, however; when I found myself in this predicament I knew few people who'd been in the same wicket and those who had didn't care to recommend their former attorneys. I found BOBB by cold calling attorneys through Yahoo search engine. So I had no way of knowing what type of representation to expect. I did however phone interview each of the returns on the search engine. At BOBB my call was professionally handled. The attorney didn't "just tell me what I wanted to hear," he was optimistic, as well as realistic, about my situation (speeding 69/45 and a secondary citation for Failure to obey a highway sign) he listened patiently to all of my case details, as well as asked a number of questions. He told me not only what I could expect of him, but ways in which I could improve my case as well, e.g. driving clinic.
It was relieving that I could trust BOBB to represent me in court, without having to appear myself. Additionally, I am extremely pleased to declare I have no moving violations on my record, simply 2 defective equipment charges. I don't know how he did it, but I am forever grateful.
Family said I was crazy to try to flight the "evidence" of the officers and court system - "just pay it." But, it would be on my record for a tremendously long time. An overshadowing misdemeanor my future employers need not see, not to mention the insurance hike. I say, you only get one shot in court, so do it right the first time! In the end, it costs less! My tickets would have been hundreds of dollars, and I know my insurance would have taken a hit (once received a ticket for 0-9MPH over limit and my insurance went up $100/yr for 5 years).
